Thank you for your interest in Tink's Magical Alpines and Toggenburgs. We maintain a herd of mostly Alpines and a few Toggenburgs, all of the animals are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association and raised on a CAE prevention program where they are tested annually.

My journey with dairy goats began in 1996, when I joined 4-H, hoping to get to show cattle like my older sister had done. My parents ideas were much different, they were looking for a project for me to be involved in that was better suited for a smaller farm, and an animal that was easier to handle than a 1000 pound steer. When they mentioned goats, I laughed at the idea, but after traveling all over the Midwest to visit goat farms my fascination with goats began.

One fall day, in 1996, we visited a farm in Osawatomie, Kansas, owned by a wonderful lady named Elenor White. She bred French Alpines and this would be where I would purchase my first two Alpines. Today, eleven years later, at the age of 20, I am still breeding and raising Alpine dairy goats along with a few Toggenburgs that were purchased for my mother as a birthday gift.

I am currently attending college and am living in Brentwood, Tennessee, where I have been fortunate enough to have a few of my does staying with me. My mother and the majority of the herd are still located in Tonganoxie, Kansas, at Scream’n Oaks Dairy. The animals are shown at numerous shows throughout the summer and when possible are exhibited at the American Dairy Goat Association National Show.

Thanks again for your interest in our herd. To see what we are expecting for our 2008 kidding season, check out our saleslist.
